First time coming here, and feeling meh about Angola Bowl. I tend to not look at boards to see prices (oops), so I typically trust that I will be charged the right price. Sure enough, I come to find out later that I was overcharged - I just thought each game would be $5 on Sunday. Technically it should be $3.50 (or 2 for $7, and that apparently includes shoe rentals - I brought my own).

Friendly staff. Clean and spacious. Good food and family fun.

If I could leave zero stars I would have. How hard is it to to be open when your website says you are going to be open. It could not be more frustrating to load up the family, who are all excited to go out for a few hours of fun..... only to arrive 25 miles later to a bowling alley that is closed right in the middle of their stated "open" hours. This is basic business etiquette and I would never consider spending a dime of my money or time here. In fact twice as far just to spend my money somewhere that didn't waste my afternoon with my family.

Very homey atmosphere in here. The people running the joint are very nice and coach the Trine bowling club. Has a good selection of beer.

Usually a very good experience but unhappy with this visit cashier was not polite and my friends father was in the hospital and she was on her way and he wouldn’t give us time for her to come.

I had a blue "buy one game, get one free" card from Angola band boosters (good deals on there), but the lady said "it doesn't matter" (not necessarily in a mean way), but then I thought she was still giving me a discount after realizing what it says (that it should apply for *every day*; doesn't exclude Sundays). The nice thing is that food is brought to you, which doesn't always happen at other alleys. But NO BOSCO STICKS?! :o lol What's a bowling alley without cheesy breadsticks? :) Fellow bowlers are generally pretty nice and the alley is tidied up, so there are a couple of positives. I was really pleased that this alley doesn't have a smokey smell that otherwise stays on my clothes! So that's good, too.
